Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of the Dibora Studio portfolio website and provide general terms for discussing and engaging me for web design or full-stack development work.

1. About Dibora Studio

Dibora Studio is my personal professional portfolio and brand for full-stack web development and web design. The website showcases projects, services, process, and information intended for prospective clients and visitors.

2. Using the website

You may use this website for lawful purposes, including reviewing my portfolio and contacting me about a project. You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with the website, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy substantial portions of the website without permission, or use the website for unlawful activity.

3. Portfolio and project information

Portfolio examples are provided to demonstrate design and development work. Project availability, features, technologies, links, and third-party services may change over time. A project shown in the portfolio does not necessarily mean that the same implementation, pricing, availability, or technology stack is currently offered.

4. Project inquiries and agreements

Submitting the contact form does not create a client relationship, contract, employment relationship, or obligation to accept a project. If we decide to work together, the specific scope, deliverables, timeline, fees, payment schedule, revisions, ownership, support, and other responsibilities should be agreed in writing before work begins.

5. Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, content, approvals, credentials, assets, and other materials reasonably required for an agreed project. Delays in receiving required materials or approvals may affect the project timeline.

6. Fees and payment

Payment terms depend on the type of project and will be confirmed in writing before work begins.

Full-stack projects: The first 50% of the agreed project fee is due after the frontend is completed, a working frontend demo is provided, and the client is satisfied with the agreed frontend deliverables. The remaining 50% is due after the backend and full-stack functionality are completed and the project is ready to be published. Publication or final delivery may be held until the remaining balance is paid.

Frontend-only, one-page, and similar projects: The completed website will be provided as a demo for review. The full agreed payment is due once the client has reviewed the finished work and is satisfied with the agreed deliverables.

Any different payment arrangement must be agreed in writing before the project begins. Work may be paused or delivery may be withheld when agreed payments or required approvals are overdue.

7. Intellectual property

Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, I retain rights in my pre-existing code, frameworks, reusable components, development methods, design systems, templates, and other materials that I created independently of a client project. Ownership or licensing of client-specific deliverables will be determined by the written project agreement and any required payment conditions.

8. Third-party services

A website or project may depend on third-party services such as hosting providers, domain registrars, APIs, payment processors, plugins, fonts, analytics tools, or software platforms. Those services are controlled by their respective providers and may have separate terms, fees, availability, and privacy practices.

9. Disclaimers

This portfolio website and its general information are provided on an as-available basis. I aim to keep information useful and accurate, but I do not guarantee that every page, link, project demo, feature, or piece of information will always be available, complete, current, or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, I am not responsible for losses caused by third-party services, outages, security incidents outside reasonable control, unauthorized changes made by others, client-provided materials, or events that could not reasonably be prevented. Any liability arising from a paid project is subject to the terms of the applicable written project agreement.

11. External links

This website may contain links to external websites and services. External links are provided for convenience or to showcase work and are not an endorsement or guarantee of those third-party websites, their content, security, or availability.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the website or professional services change. The latest version published on this page applies to website use from its stated last-updated date. A separate written agreement may apply to a specific client project.

13. Contact

If you have questions about these terms or want to discuss a project, contact hello@diborastudio.com .
